Arizona Tour

Twenty-six bikes started the day in the Capistrano Playhouse parking lot. Like any good multi-day ride, the first day covers the longest distance, and this ride was no exception. The map showed the day to cover around 470 miles, and we would arrive in Tucson, AZ around sundown.

Sturgis Trip Day 1

After a month of temps in the century mark, the heat wave broke in time for the first leg of the Sturgis Trip. This trip was two years in the making, and so far hasn’t been disappointing.

Breakfast ride to Yucca Valley

Every weekend Southern California had rain for two months, and this weekend was no different. Although weather report called for scattered showers and thundershowers in some areas, the morning looked good with a few clouds and the sun poking through in many areas. I decided to make a breakfast run to Yucca Valley.

Lunch ride to Oceanside Harbour

February 13, 2005- Oceanside, CA- After a few rainy days it was Sunday, and time for the monthly pick-up ride. This being my first pick-up ride, with OC HOG, I was eagerly ready to go. However, waking up that morning and looking outside, it was dreary looking and the ground a bit wet from the rains the day before. Before venturing out, I checked the local weather report, which showed no rain in the forecast. With that information I proceeded to fire up the Harley and let her warm up some, then headed out to meet the group.
